I’m Utkarsha Mehta, and this Thanksgiving, I’m inviting you to stand with me in a simple but urgent mission—ensuring that no one in our community goes to bed hungry. For years, my work in supply chain and operations has taught me one truth: when systems fail, people suffer. And when it comes to hunger, it’s not a lack of food—it’s a lack of access. This year, I want to take what I know best—mobilizing resources, removing bottlenecks, and creating scalable impact—and channel it toward something deeply personal: providing warm, reliable meals for individuals and families who need them the most. Thanksgiving is a moment when many of us gather around tables filled with abundance. But for countless people, this season only magnifies hardship. Behind every empty plate is a story—parents skipping meals so their children can eat, seniors stretching limited income, individuals working multiple jobs yet still unable to afford a basic necessity. This fundraiser is not just about food. It’s about dignity, hope, and the belief that no human being should feel forgotten.
